Kieron Summers-Smith
01 Profile
I have spent over a decade in payments, mostly on the merchant acquiring side at Worldpay and APEXX Global, looking after enterprise merchant books worth up to £11m ARR and the senior relationships that come with them. At both APEXX and Enfuce I was brought in to set up the customer success and relationship management side from nothing, which meant working out how accounts should be run, building the processes and the Salesforce setup behind them, and then hiring and leading the people to do it.
My most recent role at Enfuce moved me into issuer processing and embedded finance, so I now understand payments from both the acquiring and issuing side. I want to get back to the merchant side and lead a customer success team, ideally somewhere that needs the account management side properly built out rather than just staffed.
I am at my best running enterprise accounts, keeping retention high, and finding the growth in a book that others miss.

05 Early Achievement
Founder, Media & Events → Web Hosting & Consultancy · Age 15
Started a small media and events business at 15, building and hosting websites for events run out of school. As people started asking for hosting, domains and help with other projects, it turned into a web hosting and consultancy operation and the events side quietly wound down. Sold it on in the end. It taught me the commercial side early and is really where the whole career started.
